Description:
Felix was born in Jena in 1989. After his Abitur in Jena and basic military service in Kempten (Allgäu) and Hammelburg he started studying chemistry at the Friedrich-Schiller University Jena. In 2012 he finished his Bachelor thesis dealing with modification of poly(2-oxazoline)s by thiol-ene "click" chemistry under supervision of Prof. Dr. U. S. Schubert. Since then he has a strong interest in polymer chemistry and decided to specialize during his Master studies. For his Master thesis he joined the group of Prof. Dr. F. H. Schacher to work on the synthesis of poly(2-alkyl-2-oxazoline) homo and block copolymers. In his free time he likes to play football and meet friends.
